I am 50% Left Brain and 50% Right Brain. Interesting...

You Are 50% Left Brained, 50% Right Brained
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

The 'Nasium

For those of you who are curious as to where I spend the bulk of my time I have a picture of the inside of the Mathnasium where I work. I enjoy our new location because it now has an upstairs which helps with more space and to separate some of the older kids from the younger ones or if we need to do some one on one tutoring. Anyway that's it. Have a good day and enjoy.

What all do they (Tanika, et al) do at the Mathnasium? Is it mostly tutoring, or do they offer other services as well? And is that writing on the wall?

I guess I might need to see it when I'm there, add it to my list of visited Tanika mathematical locations :-)

Yeah you know how the 'Nasium do. Actually you pose some very interesting questions Daniel.

First as to the writing on the wall. It's wall art that was commissioned by a local (to LA) artist and undercontract must appear in all mathnasium franchises. If you wanna see some samples check out. (Look at cartoon art)

If you will observe the lone young gentleman in the forground. He has a gigantic binder in front of him. Inside said binder there is a vertible bastion of mathematical knowledge waiting to...for real though. The children take assessment tests and the binder if filled with work that is specifically designed for his mathematical needs. It is an independent working environment, but if he has questions or needs help with that work I will explain it to him, correct it, or teach him the neccessary math tools he needs to solve the problems. We also help with homework from school, studying (for school or SATs), during the summer we have a chess class on thursday and math games on wednesdays. I also do private tutoring using mathnasium curriculum or with whatever the parents want.
